I am curious to find out what kind of web stats there are about this kind of portlet development that has been started by some major web 2.0 players.
is it hype? is it useful ? what do people get out of these sites and how private is the information. Are there standards as to how companies deal with all your passwords etc and what kind of data should be allowed to be collated about you or your habits or preferences.
Where is the line drawn between giving enough 'personal' information to get relevant data you want, verses knowing so much about you that you would be concerned how much they knew ????
